Risk Marshal ("Risk Marshal," "we," "our," or "us") is a subscription-based software platform operated by Housle. Risk Marshal provides trading account monitoring, performance analytics, discipline tracking, alerts, and risk management tools for traders and trading teams.
Risk Marshal is not a brokerage, investment advisor, financial institution, prop trading firm, or custodial financial service provider. We do not hold or manage customer funds or make discretionary trading decisions. When you enable financial enforcement, Risk Marshal can attempt position closures, reductions and pending-order cancellations under the limits you authorize.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, process, and protect information when users access our website, platform, and related services.
By using Risk Marshal, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: name, email address, username, login credentials (via our authentication provider), subscription details, and billing-related metadata
- Trading and analytics data: when you connect accounts and enable features, Risk Marshal may record account metrics, performance statistics, risk analytics, drawdown data, trading activity and monitoring information based on your configuration.
- Account credentials: your own MT5 setup keeps your trading password in MT5; optional investor access is read-only. Managed setup requires your trading credentials to sign in and apply the financial limits you authorize. Credentials are encrypted when stored, but the managed connection must access them to sign in.
- Device and technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, usage logs, session activity, and cookies
- Communication information: support requests, contact forms, feedback, and emails or other communications with our team
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and maintain platform functionality
- Process subscriptions and account access
- Monitor platform performance and reliability
- Generate analytics and risk insights
- Improve user experience
- Provide alerts and notifications
- Detect fraud, abuse, or unauthorized activity
- Comply with legal obligations
- Communicate with users regarding updates, billing, and support
3. Sale of Personal Information
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
4. Payment Processing
Payments and subscription billing are processed through third-party payment providers. The current checkout integration uses Lemon Squeezy. The provider shown at checkout processes your payment information; we may add or change providers as our operations require.
Risk Marshal does not directly store full payment card information on its servers. Payment processors independently collect and process payment-related information according to their own privacy policies and compliance obligations.
Billing disputes and refund requests are handled under our Terms of Service (Refunds section). Contact support@riskmarshal.com.
5. Third-Party Integrations
Risk Marshal uses third-party providers for trading account connections, analytics, authentication, data storage, email delivery, error monitoring, cloud hosting, notifications and payment processing.
By connecting third-party accounts or services, you authorize Risk Marshal to access account data necessary for platform functionality. Risk Marshal is not responsible for the privacy practices, security measures, or operational availability of third-party platforms.
6. Coach and Accountability Partner Visibility
If you explicitly invite or accept a link with an accountability partner or coach, they will have direct access to your trading dashboard and telemetry. By default, linking a coach grants them full visibility into your trading performance, including your active trade logs (open/close times, prices, direction, lot sizes, commission, swap, and net P&L), historical daily balance/equity snapshots, detailed sub-discipline scores (risk, execution, emotional, and consistency scores), and recorded rules breaches.
Consent and Control: Coaches have no administrative access to change your active broker credentials, billing plans, or personal details, and they cannot alter your rule thresholds directly (they may only propose formal rule change recommendations, which you must explicitly approve or decline on your dashboard).
Revocation of Access: You retain absolute control over your roster connections. You can instantly revoke a coach's access to your data at any time by navigating to the 'Accountability Partner' or settings tab and clicking 'Disconnect Coach'. Once disconnected, all data sharing, thread read/write access, and telemetry streaming to that coach's portal are terminated immediately.
7. AI Coach (Marshal Intelligence)
Marshal Intelligence uses third-party AI services for responses and searching saved context. These services can include DeepSeek, xAI and OpenAI. Requests can include trading statistics, discipline scores, profile or roster names, relevant saved context and the messages you submit. Chat text is not guaranteed to be anonymized. Do not include passwords, license keys, payment details or other sensitive information in messages.
Provider Processing: AI data may be processed outside your country of residence. Provider storage, retention, and model-training practices depend on the terms, privacy policies, and API agreements applicable to the service. We do not promise US-only processing or that every provider excludes submitted data from training. Contact support@riskmarshal.com for information about the active provider and applicable arrangements.
Controls and Retention: Closing the AI Coach does not disable AI processing in other enabled features, including automated analysis. You can delete saved conversations through the chat history interface where available or request deletion through support@riskmarshal.com. Deleting a saved conversation does not necessarily remove related AI memory or copies already processed by a provider; include those in your request. Chat history is retained to provide the service, subject to the Data Retention section below; there is no guaranteed automatic 30-day deletion of all chat data.
AI outputs are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute investment advice, trading recommendations, or guarantees of trading outcomes.
9. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain account functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
We may delete or anonymize certain data after account closure, a deletion request, or extended inactivity.
10. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
However, no system, network, or internet transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users acknowledge that use of the platform is at their own risk.
We do not claim GDPR certification, SOC 2 compliance, ISO certification, or "bank-grade security" unless explicitly stated in a separate written attestation.
11. International Users
Risk Marshal may process and store data in multiple jurisdictions depending on infrastructure providers and service integrations.
By using the platform, users acknowledge that information may be transferred, processed, and stored outside their country of residence.
12. User Rights
Depending on applicable laws and jurisdiction, users may have rights to access personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion of certain information, object to certain processing activities, or request data portability.
Requests may be submitted through support@riskmarshal.com. Where available in the product, you may also use in-app data export or account deletion flows (deletion may be subject to a cooling-off period).
13. Children's Privacy
Risk Marshal is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we become aware that information has been collected from a minor without appropriate authorization, we may take steps to remove such information.
14. Service and Financial Disclaimer
Risk Marshal provides software tools for analytics, monitoring, and risk management purposes only. We are not a signal provider, investment adviser, or broker. Nothing on the platform constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading recommendations, brokerage services, or guarantees of profitability or trading outcomes.
Monitoring and enforcement features run only according to rules and connections you authorize. We are not responsible for your trading capital, profit, or loss. See our Terms of Service and Risk Disclaimer for full limitations.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect operational changes, legal requirements, infrastructure updates, or service improvements.
Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
